UXO (unexploded ordinance)

Hi All,

Here is my show at UXO. Check it out if you can; it is the first show that really encompasses what I am doing and thinking about – from Combat Paper, to the Veterans Book Project, to my ceramics.

Public Space One Gallery
129 E. Washington Street
Iowa City, IA

Gallery Hours:
M, W-F: 10-2PM
Tu: 6-8PM

UXO (unexploded ordinance) is an exhibition of my work. The installations include ceramic, bronze, drawing, photography, war souvenirs, Combat Paper sculpture and prints, and the book I published through The Veterans Book Project. All pieces speak to my time in Iraq and the military, a time before many people knew me.

The room is covered wall-to-wall in art about and from the war, the book offers a glimpse into my war experience through words and images. I have five copies there for people to read. The book plays an important role in the overall show. It bridges the gap between who I was then, and who I am now.
